BSUR Communications Officer Vacancy
Job Description
- Work with our website developer to ensure content is kept relevant and up-to-date
- Direct website communications from members and stakeholders to the appropriate committee members
- Communicate relevant information to the wider membership with details of the ASM, Educational content, Webinars and study days via email and social media.
- Monitor the BSUR official email account and reply on behalf of the society or forward emails to relevant committee members to deal with.
- Being the point of contact for committee members to send out emails for them to the wider membership.
- Co-ordinate the BSUR X account, and expand the profile of the society on social media platforms to advertise educational events.
General Committee Duties include:
- Attend quarterly committee meetings to plan the annual scientific meeting, discuss issues related to urogenital radiology and respond to communication from RCR and other specialist societies
- Work collaboratively with other committee members to serve the requirements of the BSUR members and other stakeholders
- Actively participate at the AGM and ASM
- Provide educational content to the website
- Participate in the RCR i-Refer panel
Criteria for the appointment of the BSUR Communications Officer member:
- Applicant should be a Consultant or senior Specialist Trainee in Radiology, on the specialist register or post FRCR and in a recognised training scheme in the UK respectively.
- Must have an interest in urogenital imaging.
- Should ideally have attended previous BSUR meetings or allied courses / conferences in order to demonstrate a track record of Urogenital imaging interest.
